Hytera Tech Challenge 2025: Celebrating Excellence in Innovation

The Hytera Tech Challenge 2025 Grand Final was held on August 7th in Gauteng, South Africa, marking the culmination of months of planning, training, and competition.

This inaugural challenge brought together 12 talented teams from Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Eswatini who advanced from a rigorous online preliminary round into an intensive, hands-on final event.

Competition Format

The day was divided into two main segments:
Programming Round: Teams had 40 minutes to configure Hytera DMR terminals, set up IP Multi-site connectivity, and implement Smart Dispatch Plus solutions to meet a realistic customer scenario.
Presentation Round: The top 8 programming teams presented their solution approaches to a panel of Hytera experts, highlighting technical accuracy, industry relevance, and implementation strategy.
