What Features Make H-series Best Choice for You
Private Call Confrimed
H-series Radios support a Feature called “Private call Confirmed” with this Feature enabled on the terminals a Radio will first TX to confirm if the targeted Radio is online and the targeted Radio will respond back with online status before a Private call can be established, with this feature enabled the users will always know if the Targeted Radio ID is online before a call can be established between the 2 radios when private calls are done.
Query Location
H-series Terminals with GPS support a feature called Query location – this feature allows a radio user to query the distance and direction of another radio via the menu. After obtaining location data, the radio with GPS displays distance, direction, longitude and latitude of the target radio, while the radio without GPS displays longitude and latitude only. The querying radio needs a display and support keypad operations, while the queried radio only needs to support the positioning feature - this is a very useful feature when a distress is transmitted, and no Dispatching software is available to locate the Radio.
Anti Magnetic Speaker
The Hytera H-series Terminals use anti-magnetic speakers which make the radios suitable for environments where fine metal dust is present as these fine metal particles do not accumulate behind the speaker preventing the speaker from moving to generate sound which is a common problem with most other Radios being used in these environments.
SIP Call function
Using the Hytera Repeaters HR655 or HR1065 it supports the function to directly register to a SIP server allowing the users to receive incoming calls from fixed lines or mobile phones – with the HP685 it will also give the user the capability to make normal phone calls from the HP685 to a public phone number.
Auto Power Adjust
The Hytera HP6 and HP7 series support a feature “auto power adjust " with this function enabled the Radio will detect the receiving signal received from the Repeater and will than work either in High power (under weak signal) or Low Power (under strong signal) as the HP6 / HP7 will only need to transmit to the repeater and will not require to Transmit in high power at all times if the user is close to the Repeater, with this function enabled the user will experience longer battery life from a fully charged battery than having to increase the battery capacity and have a bulky Radio to achieve longer battery life.
Voice with Location
The H-series Terminal with Full Display such as the HP565, HP685, HM685 support a function call Voice with Location with this feature enabled the Radio which have GPS will send the GPS info with the voice transmission and the receiving Radio with Displays will be able to see the Transmitting Radio’s longitude and latitude and also for the receiving GPS radios will also show the distance between the Transmitting and Receiving Radio.
Mixed Channel
The H-series such as the HP5, HP6 and HM6 support a feature called Mixed channel with this enabled on a Radio the Radio will automatically detect the receiving signal if it’s a digital or analogue signal and the Radio will automatically operate in this mode until the call has ended – with the feature it will assist customers which is in the process of migrating from Analogue to Digital.
Lone Worker
Lone worker is a feature in the Hytera H-series Radios the user needs to interact with the Radio in a set time interval either by pressing a button on the radio or transmitting from the radio if no input is done from the user to the Radio it could indicate that something has gone wrong and the Radio will automatically trigger the emergency to the responding team to react to the incident.
Man down
The Hytera HP605 and HP685 has a feature called mandown it uses a gyroscope to determine if the Radio is upright or down facing the sensitivity of this can also be adjusted to only trigger the mandown at 75°, 60°, 45°, 30° with this function enabled the user always need to keep the Radio upright if the Radio is not kept in this position for a predefined period of time the Radio will automatically trigger the emergency to the responding team to react to the incident.
AI Noise Cancellation
The H-series Terminals support AI noise cancelation with the feature enabled it will reduce background noises up to 30dB before transmitting and the receiving radios will receive clear sound no matter the environment.
Type-C Charging
The Hytera HP5 series has a Type-C charging input – the benefits of having a Type-C charging input, when the user is on the move and needs to recharge the battery for convenience this is a handy feature to have.
